Think like a farmer. Keep on planting the seeds and watering the plants; (Building relations, prospecting, follow up, supporting and training your people ) for the first 2 to 5 years, then you will start reaping your harvest.
You can expand your dreams and start the process all over again, building new teams, when your initial network grows stable.
- Networking is not about hunting. It is not about one-shot meetings. Many might not join your venture from the first time you show them your opportunity, so be patient and understand that its a process, not a one shot. Think like a fisherman not like a hunter.
2. Networking is about farming. It’s about cultivating relationships. Never give up on somebody. It might not be the right time for them for some reasons. Keep on updating and following up
3. Do not ask someone for a business opportunity meeting until you feel confident that the person knows and trusts you.
4. Use networking opportunities to meet people. Then, schedule additional times to connect, so you can build the trust that will allow you to ask for business.
